Position Overview

Lead mechanical technician position for experienced professionals. Take ownership of new machine builds, installations, and field service for large CNC machining centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead in-house assembly projects for new CNC machines from start to finish
• Install and commission new and used CNC machining centers at customer facilities
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Perform retrofits and upgrades on legacy CNC equipment
• Communicate project status to management and sales teams
• Contribute to R&D for new products and manufacturing processes
• Follow precision assembly procedures with strict tolerances

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years mechanical assembly or millwright experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of precision assembly techniques
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written)
• Self-motivated with leadership abilities
• Proven ability to multitask and manage workload priorities

Preferred:

• Industrial automation and manufacturing background
• CNC machine experience
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge
• Electrical schematic reading ability
• Certificate or diploma in mechanical trades

• Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $36.00 based on experience
